HubSpot Marketing Studio: Features, Benefits, and What Marketers Need to Know

Anyone who has run a multi-channel campaign knows how scattered it gets. The brief sits in a document, the email draft is in HubSpot, the social posts are in a spreadsheet, and status updates are buried in somebody’s inbox. HubSpot Marketing Studio is HubSpot’s answer to that mess: one workspace for planning, building, automating, and reporting on campaigns.

It’s still in beta, though, and that changes how you should evaluate it. This guide covers what it is, what HubSpot’s documentation says it can do, who can access it today, and whether it deserves a spot on your shortlist.

What Is HubSpot Marketing Studio?

HubSpot Marketing Studio is a campaign workspace inside Marketing Hub. You’ll find it under Marketing > Marketing Studio in your account. According to HubSpot’s product page, it lets marketers plan campaigns, create and edit assets, automate journeys, and report on results without switching tools.

Breeze Assistant, HubSpot’s AI assistant, does much of the heavy lifting. Give it a goal, a brief, or a performance signal, and it proposes a campaign plan covering who to target, how to reach them, and what to say.

Studio is a feature within Marketing Hub, so it isn’t the same as Agent Hub, which HubSpot positions as the place to build and manage AI agents across the platform.

How does HubSpot Marketing Studio work?

In practice, the flow looks like this:

  1. Start a campaign from an AI prompt, a template, a clone of an older campaign, an uploaded document, or a blank canvas.
  2. Fill in the campaign brief: goal, audience, messaging, and dates.
  3. Review the plan and assets Breeze Assistant suggests. HubSpot’s documentation says AI-generated assets and automations aren’t created in a published state.
  4. Edit, approve, and publish, then track performance from the same workspace.

Key Features of HubSpot Marketing Studio

The features below come from HubSpot’s product page and its Marketing Studio documentation.

AI-powered campaign planning

When you generate a campaign with AI, Studio fills in details like the campaign name, goal, audience, and budget, then suggests assets with built-in tracking. HubSpot says the planning draws on your brand, audience, content gaps, and past performance. The product page also describes Studio flagging problems, such as a drop in AEO visibility (how your brand shows up in AI answer engines) or weaker segment performance, and recommending what to do next.

HubSpot Marketing Studio can also connect with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, making it easier for teams to work with the assistants they already use. For marketers who rely on these tools every day, this could make campaign planning feel a little more seamless. Just make sure to check HubSpot’s latest documentation to see how these integrations work and whether they’re available for your account.

Campaign canvas and asset creation

The canvas is the visual center of Studio. Assets appear as cards. You can add existing ones or create new ones, such as a marketing email or blog post, and you can drag in files like PDFs or images. Cards can be connected, grouped, auto-arranged, cloned, or remixed into other content types.

Campaigns that use channels outside HubSpot are covered too. You can add links to designs and documents stored elsewhere, which helps when your plan includes social platforms or ad networks.

Collaboration and organization

Teammates can comment on the campaign or on specific assets, assign asset owners, and create tasks tied to a card. You can view a campaign as a calendar, a board, or an asset list, so each person can use the view that suits them.

Campaign automation

Automations are set up from the same canvas, and campaigns can be associated with workflows. HubSpot says you can run multiple automations in one campaign, trigger them from asset interactions, and A/B test branches. Breeze Assistant can build these for you, but they’re worth reviewing carefully before anything goes live.

Campaign reporting

HubSpot says Studio ties campaign activity to revenue, showing attributed revenue, ROI, deal influence, and contact lifecycle impact for a single campaign or across your program. As with any attribution report, how useful it is depends on how clean your CRM data and tracking setup are.

Benefits of HubSpot Marketing Studio for Marketing Teams

HubSpot doesn’t publish guaranteed outcomes for Studio, and no one else should promise them either. What the documented features do suggest are practical advantages you can test on your own team.

Less tool-hopping during planning. Planning, asset creation, automation, and reporting live in one place. If your team currently bounces between a project tool, a spreadsheet, and HubSpot, that could mean fewer handoffs and fewer “which version is final?” conversations.

Clearer ownership. Consider a hypothetical five-person team launching a webinar campaign. The designer owns the landing page card, the writer owns the email sequence, and feedback lands on the cards instead of in a long email thread. It’s not magic, but it keeps accountability visible.

A faster first draft. Breeze Assistant can turn a brief into a draft plan with suggested assets, which gives you something to react to instead of a blank page. The draft still needs a marketer’s judgment on brand voice, accuracy, and strategy.

A more connected view of results. With reporting sitting next to the campaign itself, it may be easier to see what a campaign influenced instead of stitching numbers together from separate reports.

Who Should Use HubSpot Marketing Studio?

HubSpot says Studio is designed for marketing teams of all sizes, and calls it particularly valuable for teams that collaborate across functions, manage several campaigns at once, or need to move quickly from concept to launch.

It’s likely a good fit if:

  • You already pay for Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise.
  • You run overlapping campaigns across email, content, social, and ads.
  • Coordination, rather than creativity, is your biggest bottleneck.
  • Your team is comfortable using generative AI tools with human review.

You may not need it yet if:

  • Your plan sits below Marketing Hub Professional, since Studio isn’t available there.
  • You send a handful of simple campaigns and your current process works fine.
  • Your company restricts generative AI, because Studio requires that setting to be on.
  • Your account has little brand, audience, or performance data. That last point is our interpretation, not a HubSpot statement, but AI planning that leans on past performance has less to work with when there’s little history.

HubSpot Marketing Studio Pricing and Availability

On the pages we reviewed, HubSpot doesn’t list a standalone price for Studio. Here’s what it does state, as of October 2026:

  • Plan requirement: Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise.
  • Beta access: A Super Admin must opt the account into the Marketing Studio beta.
  • AI settings: The generative AI tools and features setting must be turned on.
  • Permissions: Super Admin or Campaign permissions are needed to create and manage campaigns.
  • Credits: Campaign agent, content agent, and nurture agent within Breeze Assistant are credit-consuming features.

That last point matters for budgeting. On top of your subscription, AI-assisted work may use credits, so ask HubSpot how they’re allocated and what happens when they run out. Before making a decision, check HubSpot’s current pricing information and your account’s access settings to confirm eligibility and understand any additional credit requirements.

Is HubSpot Marketing Studio Worth Considering?

There’s a lot to like on paper: one shared workspace, AI-assisted drafting, collaboration right on the canvas, and reporting connected to revenue. For teams already on Professional or Enterprise, the main cost of trying it is time.

There are also some limitations to consider. Features and requirements may change, AI-generated plans and assets need human review, and credit usage can affect costs. Results will also depend on the quality of your brand setup, CRM data, and attribution.

A sensible approach is to test it on one low-risk campaign and judge it by whether your team coordinates better, not by how impressive the first AI draft looks. If you’re not on a qualifying plan, there’s little reason to upgrade for this one feature while it’s still in beta.

Conclusion

HubSpot Marketing Studio is an interesting step toward managing a whole campaign in one place. The documented features, from AI-assisted planning to a shared canvas to revenue-linked reporting, address problems most marketing teams recognize. However, access requirements and credit usage are important considerations, so evaluate it against your actual workflow rather than the headline pitch.

If you’re weighing whether Studio fits your HubSpot setup, or you want your CRM data and campaign process ready for AI-assisted marketing, Amroar Technologies can help you evaluate your HubSpot or Salesforce setup and spot where better processes and data management would make a difference.
