Data Deletion Instructions

1. Purpose of this page

This page explains how to request deletion of personal data processed by Amroar Technologies Private Limited (“Amroar”), including data associated with Amroar-operated applications and integrations that use Meta or the WhatsApp Business Platform.

You do not need to have an active Amroar account to submit a deletion request. If Amroar processes the relevant data only on behalf of a business customer, we may coordinate the request with that customer, but we will help route the request rather than requiring you to determine the legal role yourself.

2. How to request deletion

1. Email info@amroar.com from an address you can access. Use the subject line: “Data Deletion Request”.
2. Include the information needed to locate the data: your name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number with country code, organization/workspace (if applicable), the Amroar product/service involved, and a short description of what you want deleted.
3. If your request relates to Meta or WhatsApp, mention that explicitly and include the connected business/account or WhatsApp number if you know it. Do not send passwords, full access tokens, app secrets or private keys.
4. We may ask you to verify your identity or authority before acting on the request.
5. After verification, we will delete or anonymize the personal data within our control that is not required to be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, contractual or dispute-resolution reasons. We will respond without undue delay and within any period required by applicable law.
6. We will confirm when the request has been completed or explain if a limited category of information must be retained and why.

3. Data that may be covered by a deletion request

• Amroar account/profile information and business contact information.
• Meta or WhatsApp account identifiers associated with an Amroar integration, where stored by Amroar.
• WhatsApp telephone numbers, profile/display names, message content, attachments/media, message identifiers, timestamps, delivery/read status and conversation metadata stored within Amroar systems, subject to the relevant customer relationship and legal obligations.
• Provider tokens or connection records that are no longer required after an authorized integration is disconnected or revoked.
• Support records, uploaded content or service data where deletion is permitted and technically applicable.

4. Disconnecting Meta or WhatsApp access

You may also remove or revoke an Amroar application or integration through the relevant Meta/WhatsApp account or business settings. Revocation can stop future access, but it does not automatically erase all information that may already have been stored by Amroar before the revocation. If you also want stored data deleted, submit a deletion request using the process above.

5. Data Amroar may need to retain

Some information may need to be retained for a limited period where required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, tax/accounting, contract administration, legal claims or proof that a privacy request was handled. Any retained information is limited to the purpose requiring the retention and is not kept for unrelated use.

Deleted data may also remain temporarily in encrypted or access-restricted backup systems until the applicable backup is overwritten or expires through the normal backup cycle.

6. Requests involving a business customer

If an organization uses Amroar to process customer, employee or end-user data and that organization controls the relevant data, Amroar may need to act on that organization’s verified instructions. We will coordinate with the organization where necessary and will continue to apply applicable deletion and security obligations to data within our control.
